With the new information from our President to open up our churches, I am opening Calvary Chapel Adelanto in Adelanto starting Sunday May 31st. Our opening will have Church services at 9:00am and 11:00am so we can keep social distancing. I’m also opening up Wednesday night service at 7:00pm. We have a policy with guidelines and a list of protocols that we’ll require to minimize health risks:

  1. Wear freshly laundered clothing to service.
  2. As people come to the door, we’re going to take their temperature before they enter the Church to attend the service, and they’ll be seated by an usher or ushers.
  3. Those attending should not show any signs of the COVID-19 symptoms, or been in contact with anyone confirmed with COVID-19 in the past 21 days. Symptoms include:
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • 2 or more of these symptoms:
      • Fever
      • Chills
      • Repeated shaking with chills
      • Muscle Pain
      • Headache
      • Sore Throat
      • Recent loss of taste or smell
  4. If underlying medical conditions exist, seek medical attention prior to attending service. The following conditions may put a person at higher risk to contract COVID-19 or other virus: adults over 65, individuals with conditions such as, but not limited to, asthma, HIV, diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and or cancer.
  5. Refrain from eating or drinking before service (unless medically necessary) to minimize use of the restrooms.
  6. Practice good hygiene; wash hands frequently for a minimum of 20 seconds with hot water and soap.

  7. During the Service:

  8. The County of San Bernardino has lifted the face mask requirement so we here at Calvary Chapel do not require them, however, please know that the CDC still recommends them. Click here for more information.
  9. Use restrooms only if absolutely necessary.
  10. Practice social distancing: remain 6 feet apart, no handshaking, no embracing or touching anyone except your personal household.
  11. Parking and seating will be limited. Please follow all directives of parking lot attendants, ushers, and of the security team.
  12. We will receive people as we can seat them with social distancing 6 feet apart.
  13. Sunday services are 9:00am and 11:00am, and will be held inside the Church with social distancing at 6 feet. The 11:00am service will be live on our radio station 107.1fm, livestreamed on our website, and also on Facebook. Wednesday night service will be in the Church at 7:00pm, it’ll be live on our radio station, livestreamed on our website, and also Facebook.

We’re praying that your time in our service will be a blessing, and we are looking forward to worshipping together in our Lord’s House, and to study His Word together as members of the body of Christ. Thank you for your attention in following these guidelines.
